The Lighting Shop

Hello everyone and welcome to Lampe De Nuit, your reference in lighting!

Behind this e-shop is me: Norah, a 31-year-old French-Lebanese woman from Lyon. I have a Master's degree in architecture.

The birth of this site was always a given for me. After many years of study, I decided to fulfill my dream and embarked on a world tour with friends. I had the opportunity to discover many peoples and cultures through this journey.

Throughout time and in all the civilizations that have succeeded one another throughout history, light has always been an important symbol, sometimes even divine. Whether in Mauritania, Indonesia or Argentina, each people has always sought light. This phrase can be interpreted in a double sense: the search for light to escape from obscurantism , or in the primary sense to guide one's steps and illuminate one's nights .

I was able to discover many sources of designer light during my trip. Whether they came from a situation, a person, or even an object. All the lamps that I was able to see and compare from all over the world reminded me of wonderful stories that my parents told me before going to sleep .

I decided to buy them in every country I visited, collect them, and display them in my home. Today, I'm a true Night Lamp enthusiast, and I'd like to share this passion with you. So, I created this expert shop where I select and share my favorites when it comes to original lamps.
